American Gender and Society Survey

Interview Dates: August 16–August 26, 2024

The American Gender and Society Survey offers a comprehensive look at the social and political dynamics shaping life in the United States, with a particular focus on the widening divide between men and women. The survey investigates Americans' dating and relationship experiences, as well as their perceptions of the opposite sex. Based on responses from more than 5,800 U.S. adults, the findings inform two major reports: a pre-election analysis of the political gender divide and an early-2025 study on the state of American romance.
